Unsaddling and Tidying Up - hippotherapy

The activity includes unsaddling and cleaning the horse for its return to the the stable or outdoor paddock and lasts around 10 minutes.

The aim of this phase is to formalise the end of the activity by taking case of the horse from the beginning to end of the lesson and tidying up all the equipment used.

The time when the students thank the horse they used is very important, They offer the horse food right from their hands, reinforcing their relationship with the animal, which is not viewed as an instrument but as a companion for work and fun.
